My Experience @ Ted x Detroit 2010

..................was extraordinary, and Paramount. I was Surrounded by Innovators and thinkers in all Professions. Poets, Agriculturalists, TV News, Personalities, Fellow Musicians, Specialists in Renewable Energy, activists for DC Current and so forth..... Everybody was on the vibe of Upliftment for the city of Detroit. Whether they all were authentic or not, was not the issue for me... it was the energy as a whole. I think it has some truth to it.

So I was motivated to do a 'Scratch Composition' dedicated to the Metropolis called 'Ode to Detroit'. You will hear it soon.....Its inspired by the Great People, Places and events that i know take place here. and the optimistic FUTUR. The Tedders Hearted 'The Scratch Dali'. :-)

the difference between me and them..... i have a special scratch touch.... i mean you could try to put scratches on your song by yourself or hire a DJ that doesn't posses this touch but the outcome wouldn't be the same.... its like tryin to do your own graphics with no experience. you may have an idea but knowing how to Carry it out is a whole DIFFERENT Monster. theres a lot that goes into graphics theres proportion color, different techniques that make up a project. Well the same goes for my craft. i look at scratching as a musical phenomenon and it has its mechanics. I know how to keep scratches within the flow of the music. I can pick the right sound, and/or words for the right musical occasion, and keep scratches in there place, as well as make them interesting. Ive never heard a complaint that i scratch too much... :-)
